The crown of the national park: two reefs meeting in blue water, walls dropping into the abyss, huge summer schools of barracuda, jack and snapper, and the scattered cargo of the Yolanda wreck. Currents can run — the definitive Sharm dive.

Four reefs strung across a current-swept channel: fast, exhilarating drift diving over pristine hard coral, with sharks, turtles and pelagics patrolling the edges. Jackson Reef is the signature.

A WWII British freighter sunk in 1941, holds still packed with motorcycles, trucks and rifles — the most famous wreck dive on earth. Day-boat from Sharm or on a liveaboard; often two dives to do it justice.
