The dive sites

What you'll dive in Hurghada.

Each site gets its own map and full briefing (in production). Depths and levels below.

5 → 30 m

Giftun Islands — Erg Somaya, Small & Big GiftunAll levels

A protected island group of coral pinnacles, gardens and gentle walls teeming with anthias, morays, turtles and reef sharks — the heart of Hurghada day-diving, beautiful for every level.

4 → 27 m

Abu Nuhas — the wreck cemeteryOpen Water → Advanced · wreck

Four ships wrecked on one reef: the Giannis D (broken and photogenic), the Carnatic (1869, wine-bottle cargo), the Chrisoula K ("Tile Wreck") and the Kimon M ("Lentil Wreck"). The Red Sea's greatest concentration of diveable wrecks.

14 → 30 m

Carless Reef & El FanadirAdvanced / All levels

Carless Reef's twin pinnacles pull in moray eels and pelagic action in mild current; El Fanadir is a long, easy drift wall close to shore — a favourite gentle day.

15 → 32 m

Abu Ramada — "The Aquarium"Open Water → Advanced

Coral heads swarming with glassfish and reef life, drift and pinnacle diving that earns its nickname — one of Hurghada's most rewarding all-round sites.

17 → 50 m

Rosalie MollerDeep / Technical

The Thistlegorm's lesser-known sister ship, intact and upright in deeper water — a serious deep or technical wreck for experienced divers, wrapped in glassfish and grouper.
